Preliminary council agenda for May 20, 2015

The preliminary agenda featuring three public hearings (Wastewater Ordinance, Zone Map Amendments, and Annexation Petition) has been published at the town website. A copy is also available on Drive. The latest GRT report should be provided in time for inclusion in the council packet. In the meantime, the Taxation & Revenue website shows a sizable increase in the total distributed for May 2015 which indicates that one or more major retailers may have been late during the previous reporting period. The food distributions made under the state's "hold harmless" legislation have been identified as being the most volatile in recent months.

New agendas published for May 9 and May 13:

The agenda for the May 9 budget workshop has been posted; it appears to be identical to the version originally posted for the cancelled May 2 meeting. An agenda for the May 13 regular council meeting has also been published at the town's website. This meeting had been scheduled for May 6 but was cancelled. The latest version of the regular meeting's agenda differs somewhat from the original. I will post a link to the council packet as soon as it is available.  

The May 5, 2015 P&Z meeting was also cancelled, but so far no date has been set for the next meeting. [Edited to add that the next meeting has now been advertised and an agenda published for May 19, 2015. One item on the agenda is a review of the Governmental Conduct Act Compliance Guide which is published by the office of the New Mexico Attorney General.]

P&Z meeting cancellation:

The planning and zoning meeting originally scheduled for this evening, May 5, 2015, was cancelled earlier today. 

Budget workshop and regular council meetings have been cancelled:

The May 2 special meeting (budget workshop) has been rescheduled to May 9.  The May 6 regular council meeting has been rescheduled to May 13.
