After the fact....The agenda and packet for the Feb. 3, 2016 Town Council meeting can be viewed/downloaded from the town website.  The council meeting audio is available as well.

The audio from the Feb. 2, 2016 P&Z meeting has also been posted. 

Audio from the 11/04/2015 Town Council meeting

The November 4, 2015 meeting was mostly routine with the exception of public comments which begin at approximately 22 minutes. The audio file can be listened to/downloaded from the town website.  The Agenda Center link goes to an index page which has a variety of items listed in no particular order; look for the date and meeting type to find audio for a particular meeting.  At the present time, there are three different index pages; it may be necessary to search through several lists.

Audio files from the October 20, 2015 P&Z meeting and the October 21, 2015 Town Council meeting can be listened to/downloaded at the town website's agenda center. 

Listen to audio from recent town meetings:

Audio from the September 16, 2015 Town Council meeting is now available for listening/downloading at the town website. The re-hearing of the variance request for Marietta Court which took place at the September 22, 2015 P&Z meeting is available as well. I save copies which are stored offline to save space on Drive. 

Town meeting information

The preliminary council agenda for August 19, 2015 is now posted at the town website as is the P&Z agenda for August 18, 2015. 

Audio for the July 25, 2015 special town council meeting has been posted as has the audio file for the August 5, 2015 town council meeting.

Copies of the agendas will be placed on Drive in the appropriate folders located in ToE Public Information, but copies of audio files will be stored offline. 

The June 17, 2015 change in Edgewood's mayor pro tem.

Following a closed session near the end of the June 17, 2015 regular council meeting, the Edgewood Town Council voted to remove Town Councilor Chuck Ring as mayor pro tem*. Mayor Brad Hill had been notified prior to that meeting that Ring had filed a notice of tort claim against the town. Upon consulting with the town attorneys, Ring was asked by the mayor to step down as mayor pro tem. Councilor John Abrams was selected to replace Ring.

[*Clarification added on 07/31/2015 after further readings of the meeting minutes; There were two votes taken subsequent to the closed session. The first called upon Ring to step down from his position as Mayor Pro Tempore. Ring voted in favor of the motion. When asked by the mayor if he then intended to step aside voluntarily, Ring declined in spite of having voted in favor of the previous motion.  The second action was a motion to appoint Councilor John Abrams as his replacement.]

[Note: The draft minutes for the meeting which were eventually approved as written can be read beginning on p. 4 of the July 15, 2015 council packet. It would appear that Ring's continuing to serve in that position would conflict with and perhaps undermine the town's response to his and other, related litigation.]

Recent town meeting information:

Audio for the July 7, 2015 P&Z meeting is now available for listening to/downloading from the town website. Meeting packet information with an addendum as well as audio for the July 15, 2015 council meeting is also available. I am also storing copies of meeting audios offline to conserve space on Drive.

The recording of Wednesday's meeting may be listened to/downloaded from the town website.  I am now archiving the recordings of meetings offline to save space.

The agenda is now available at the town website with a copy also posted on Drive. The audio for the June 3 Town Council meeting has been posted at the town website as well.

Preliminary Council Agenda for March 18, 2015

The preliminary council agenda for March 18th has been published at the town website.  A copy has been placed on Drive.

The audio for the council meeting of February 18, 2015 is now available for listening/downloading at the town website.

Audio of the P&Z meeting of 03/03/2015 and the Council audio for 03/04/2015 are now available at the town website. I am storing copies of meeting audios offline to save space. 

A preliminary agenda for the March 17, 2015 P&Z meeting has been published.  A copy of the agenda is also available on Drive. The agenda posted should be considered to be provisional in nature and subject to change until the 72 hour deadline for publication of the final product. I will post links to the packet information, including the final agenda, as soon as it becomes available. 

From the Town of Edgewood Agenda Center:

The audio from the February 3, 2015 P&Z meeting is now available at the town website.  I keep copies of meeting audios but store them offline to conserve space.  In the event you find the link to the town website no longer works, please contact me for a copy of the MP3.

The town has plans to post the audio from the February 4, 2015 council meeting later this week.  I will edit this post to add a link as soon as the information is available. [ETA 02/12/2015: Link to council audio.]

In addition, the preliminary agenda for the February 18, 2015 council meeting has been published.  A copy is also available on Drive.

The audio from the December 16 P&Z meeting is available for listening/downloading at the town's website. The Council meeting audio from December 17 is available as well.  Both links can be found in the Agenda Center which contains links to agendas, packets, and meeting audio files.  I will continue to retain copies of meeting audios offline.

Preliminary council agenda for Oct.1 & Sept.17 meeting audio:

The preliminary agenda has been posted at the ToE website, and a copy has been placed on Drive. The audio for the September 17, 2014 council meeting is also available. (The recording begins at some point during NM House District 50 candidate Vickie Perea's remarks near the beginning of the meeting.)

The meeting included discussions about changing the makeup of the planning commission as well as an update on the road paving projects authorized in the bond election earlier this year.
